I should have said in the white, so take 3 as 30% and 5 as 50%.

Yea thanks for that. If you split the gauge into about 10 segments i would say it goes to about 3 at upto 5k rpm than blips up to about 5 at over that, this is when the car feels and sounds...

I think about half way will check tonight!!!!!!

Turbo whine changes at higher revs and car feels more urgent, generally not looking at gauge too busy laughing!!!!

Just bought an L plate t5 (i think)!!!!!.

Is there such a beast as an 850 turbo, or is that the t5. The reason i ask is the hand book says the t5 has a 30 second overboost facility raising power...
