Hmm, I've had a problem on that end too, although mine was the bottom ball joint.

That wobbled top to bottom BADLY.... Completely f**ked the handling...

You will not find any police forces using non-standard volvo parts in general - as it was explained to me.

They use Manufacturers parts only - cost is no issue to them, and they get exceptional...

Ive been meaning to post about mine. I've just had (a week ago) it done.

As part of the "unofficial recall...." It went into the garage...

The new engine mount is spot on, not noticed much difference in noise levels (well apart from fixing the exhaust...) but the "feel" of the car whilst driving is so much better. It would appear Volvo...

However I was intrigued to find that there were no nuts on that section at all... Must have rittled rattled themselves off. Sigh....

Well I popped in to VT on Thursday and met Hamish and his wife.

Got what I needed and decided there and then that if anything needs doing to my car in future they've got the job.
