Whats it like acceleration wise?
A little bit wrong there lance, there is two flavors of geartronic s60r, one that's 7.2 and the other is 6.5.
I think both are faster than the 2.4 lpt, but i did find in real world terms autos...
Why not go the whole hog and go for an s60r, i picked up a mint tuned one (MTE 2 FERRITA FULL SYSTEM) with 88k for under £2000.
Plus re-sale on a manual is better
i think he paid more than that mate, didn't sell on ebay for £1700 and worth a fair bit more broken. I think moose offered him £2000 for it.
cheers buddy
No one can make the decision for you mate, most are financial / needs based. If its trying to gain the most for the car as possible breaking may be an option.
I'll take the complete shell off...
As title says anyone with a pic of a 854 t5r on 18 pegs?
I've just paid considerably less for my gull with half the mileage, but i did wait and punch when one came up forsale and it was a couple of months.
But still was more than i would pay for an...
Sent you a pm buddy, but i can fully understand where you are coming from. The car i sold to ayden would have broke for over £2000 easily. In fact i had reservations upto £1500 no probs but it was a...
ooooo i should easily manage 330+, will get a dyno done soon. saw a similar set up car with 361bhp.
Just have to wait and see
I must admit i live the awd on the s60r, but the new gull i've just brought is nice as well, not sure which to use, maybe 6 months of each lol
I can't see yours fitting neal, knowing how close mine are and they are small calipers. But i guess wait and see, you can always use spacers
chances are then no. I'm doing some 336mm and they are close on 18's
Ive got a code reader
did that make much difference?
Is yours tuned at all stribo?
i'l have to put mine on the rolling road, find out how much it has, from speaking with the owner a systems analyst for banks in london (always a good sign) its a little bit tuned
Yep just brought an s60r, good spec as well, so joined the club
i used 336mm xc90 discs with 4 pots brembos, and think they will fit under comets.
what calipers is this chap using i assume v50 calipers?
i was using the original 280mm t5 calipers and moving further out.
TBH not to mention the impacts and vibrations the hubs take. I think i'd take my chances with the unwelded plates or maybe bolt up then safety weld may be a compromise
only concern is the welding aspect, i've made my bbk and been looking into making a plate in essence similar that bolts up rather than weld.
You can try my ecu again to rule that out if you like later.
