No bud, no marks on caliper but never thought about back plate, would this cause the sound under braking?

Put different calipers, discs an Pads on the fronts, but my front right wheel is still making a shooshing sound while braking, just like it did before I changed them.

Any ideas what could cause...

SOmeone told me they only last for a few years - not entirely sure about that one though - just make sure there is no untreated chips/rust underneath

I've done the bulkhead one, but only as I originally bought this by mistake over the top mount itself - seems fine, no issues with it, but cant say I would have done it intentionally bud.

Ouch! good that they have bypassed Volvos cauldron of darkness, but shame about the price - maybe in time it will come down, as I know the local Volvo near me charge £448.96 all in including software...
