As it's slower now than when I got it? And what's the point in having a bigger turbo if you can't use it? I'm running about 1 bar I would think.
This is why it needs mapping so it can be done...

Yeah I wouldn't play with the actuator on a map set for the right turbo however as above the turbo is bigger than the map was designed for it needed tweaking.
Shame as I'd love to see this make...

Wound it down 2 1/2 turns and it pulls through the revs now

Yeah it's just above half way on the positive side but just feels so gutless :(
And it still makes mental boost!! How did it ever work when it wasn't wound down?
It's on the standard ecu so in theory could it be turned up as it's painfully slow now.
Standard ecu pulls her through the rev range no problem at all.
So I'm stuck how to resolve the issue :(

I have a problem with the 850R where she gets to 4k and it hits like a limiter and I can go no further. Tbh I back off as soon as it bangs on it once. ...
I know boost figures for 3 of my friends... 1 is 20psi, 1 is 22.3psi and the other is 16/17psi all the original turbo to the vehicle. I'd consider 30psi to be high.
I think 20 is just above...
I read about and the boost these cars make was not high enough to be negatively effected without a dump valve?
No the idle control hose popped over so she died when I came to a stand still. At midnight and 1% battery on my phone lol luckily I spotted it quite quick.
I have a 302mm setup coming and strut...
No it never did till I fitted a forge blanking plate and have no dump valve as it has been boosting harder now.
I'll keep an eye out for a second hand ecu then and wind the boost back to where it...

I love this car btw. Smile is always on my face!! Apart from when it popped off a boost hose haha.
To be honest I haven't checked anything. I'm not bothered by a/c my last car had auto climate control and I always used to turn the a/c off as I dislike it so I may as well remove it on this car.

Seems it appears a common problem a/c doesn't work in these cars how hard would it be to just rip the a/c out and replace it with a pulley ? And also lose the a/c rad at the front? ...
