Just an update got recovered this morning by AA and they suspect Cambelt or tensioner so not looking promising at all will have a look over the weekend :-(

Again thank you all for your hopeful comments I really do hope it is something simple but not very optimistic but fingers crossed I finish work at 4 am so will get it towed home and look in the day...

I certainly hope this is just an intercooler pipe but not feeling lucky today also surely it would restart even with the pipe off?
Could be coincidence but the battery seemed dead as well I.e. dash...

Thanks for the positive thoughts but did try to restart in layby but nothing and I would have thought if just intercooler pipe it would still run but no power :-(

Not sure what has happened but was driving rather briskly when had loss of all power so coasted into a layby and abandoned car there as was on way to work gonna get recovered when finish in morning....

Was quite disappointed at 8:45 thought the 850 was going to disappear into the distance lol

Could it not be hitting boost cut if only doing at high boost, I would check all vac pipes etc
