HLM Bromsgrove.. I drove up to have my (RIP) C70 mapped.. Good guy.. Knows a load and will find little leaks and stuff in no time.. Fiery wife and husband relationship though but it was entertaining...
I've got one of my old C70, T5 1999 that probably has around 10,000 miles on it, if that.. The car is long gone now but I still have a bunch of bits for it.. Wheels, stereo etc..
I'll have to have...
Run out the screen wash by washing your front windscreen a lot.. If the carpet dries up after that then it's obviously something to do with that system.

I got 430 out a tank driving to Scotland at 60mph (don't ask). Around town only it would give me close to 300. I think the worst was 260.. Overall i'd agree in general that 300-350 is and average...
I always ran Avon ZV5's on my C70 T5.. They just seemed to work..
If this was April Fools then you'd have been rumbled.. ;)
Sorry but they just make a joke out of an already good looking car.. Just being brutally honest..
Save that look for Santa Pod...
The most obvious general advice is, don't let that lack of servicing happen. All the cars I have owned that have been 'previously owned' (er.. all of them.. !) have had dubious histories where poorly...
I've noticed the same on my 05 plate Audi A4 actually.. More so than my old C70 T5
The brakes on my Volvo C70 T5 (RIP) weren't great at all. Lots of brake fade etc.. The only way out is to fit a decent set of pads and disks at the same time. The stock ones are for normal sunday...
They do look very refined i'd have to agree.. Nice looking cars though.. I've always liked the C70 shape.
Don't know much about the D5.. Will check it out...
As some of you know I moved from a 1999 Volvo C70, T5 a few months ago and went to Audi again (for a bit...).
I questioned buying a 2006/7/8 C70 T5, with the hard top convertible for a short...
I've only just noticed thread this now otherwise I could have almost certainly pointed my finger towards the MAF.
Mine was exactly the same a few years back. I replaced the Oxygen sensor as well...
Cool. I was going to chuck the damn thing away...! HLM tune on it so it might be worth something to someone..
Cheers..
Ah. I was under the impression that the ECU I took out of my old C70 T5 (to sell on) wouldn't work at all in any other car. Are you saying that it will fit another ME7 C70 T5 manual then??

My old C70 (RIP) T5 wasn't as bad as I would have thought in the snow. There was no real traction when accelerating but it was better than expected considering it's less than average handling in the...
There are too many variables to an engine's wear that could lower the measurable power output to be too general about how much wear and tear might affect that output. Well loved and well serviced...
Perfectly normal to me. 1st felt really flat after I had mine mapped but it was just that all the other gears pulled better than before so I put it down to a sort of an illusion of relativity...
Gosh.. That 'sounds' like a lot.. Maybe there is a whole kit of bits to do..
Have you tried shopping around? For those sorts of jobs, I tend to use http://www.f1autocentres.co.uk/
I usually...
Yeah. It's really how it puts it down on the road. I remapped my Audi A4 3.0Tdi the other day which was 203 standard and apparently you get 240'something.. Although that's a reasonable increase, it's...
I remember replacing my oxygen sensor (pre-cat) on my 1999 C70 T5 when I got a code. I can't remember if it was that code though. Made no difference at all. The fault was actually the Maf. I replaced...
I've got five coils I took off my C70 T5 1999.. I've been working away from home for centuries (or so it would seem) but i'm back in Bristol from Monday 28th November. My C70 (RIP) had done 117000...
Good one for bringing this up. I've seen a couple in my local garage getting new racks. Not too expensive of a job either but it seems it's not uncommon..

My 'RIP' C70 T5 was mapped by HLM tuning in Bromsgrove. A generally good experience. 240 standard taken to 270 odd. Mine didn't exactly destroy R32's but it was def faster in every situation I had an...
