I wouldn't risk water...... I'd use those little white polystyrene balls you get in bean bags, same method though and no risk of getting wet. :smile:

I picked up a 603 from a scrap yard (£10) it fitted straight in, no recode needed.
Stereo wise, I've just put a Volvo 603? stereo in, came from a scrapyard W plate V70, plugged straight in to my ex-plod 2004, all for £10.
They work really well, give a nice flat tow, see sig
