I've not done any before/after timing with/without WI but I can tell you with absolute certainty that the addtion of WI to my V70 T5 *prevents* peformance degradation in hot weather, especially under...
I think it was on here too.
RobbieH also tried a powerflex top mount on his D5 and rapidly removed it (this was over a year ago...). He sold it to me and it's now on my T5.
But... the quality of the PFV grilles is shockingly bad. So bad I never bothered fitting mine and it went back... This was 18 months ago though - things may have changed.
Did I hear that the XC70 grille fits the V70 ? Or did I imagine it ?
So how much was the valve body then and what p/n is it ?
Already have one on mine... :hilarious :wavey:
What's up with yours then ? :bog:
Timing belt not put on right/few teeth out ?
That makes sense then as mine's a 2001.
This is enabled by default on my V70. It's even described in the manual as normal behaviour. Why did you have to have it enabled? Shouldn't it have been already ?
Continental Contact 3's on my V70 at present. They're excellent performers. And I too like to bury my foot and don't take corners lightly. They grip extremely well in the dry and wet, especially in...
Is it the engine ? http://images.t5d5.org/public/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif
You can measure coolant temperature via the OBDII port.
I think newer ones are grey, older ones are black. So if you can't find a grey thing, look for black.
At least it was black on mine, and I replaced it with a grey one. And no the old one wasn't...
It is a heck of a new bypass Robbie, and going up at a rapid rate!
Syerston and Farndon eh ? I've been gliding from there a few times, and I launch the boat from Farndon Marina with the...
Nowhere near that hot on mine, but it does feel warm to the touch. Just warm though, nothing more.
Spent half an hour traversing the A46 between Nottingham and Newark yesterday, doing a steady 40 in the roadworks. I was suprised to see my average of 47mpg - in a T5!
I know it's not a Dirty5,...
Not mad, but yes I do keep cars longer than the average Joe, and will probably have the V70 for a number of years yet, not because I have to, but because I want to.
I'm considering a £2k LPG...
Here are some ideas... :yikes:
I got a new MAF for mine last year from GSF Parts and it was £150 ish. It's a Genuine Bosch item.
Praps he's referring to the V80 not the S60 ? :uglyhamme
Jim did mine at ~90k and the car was noticeably better, particularly at lower rpm where there was a little more urge and grunt. Well worth it. My Saab ones will going shortly...
£30 ? Christ indeed. You can get all 5 injectors professionally cleaned by jimathan on here for less than £50!
