try unlocking the car with the key and starting the car i think that should disconnect the alarm cause the code from the key should turn it off, but could be wrong

trust me mate get a proper volvo one for awd cause i went down that route they all fit till you come to put the exhaust back, i was lucky and manage to find a good volvo detatable one from adam at...

i change the oil regulary and i thought the same, you could hear clearly with a srewdriver on the rocker cover which valves it was coming from which was ex on no5 so changed the followers tappits and...

right got the head back off and can not see anything, gonna take out the valve and check them, anyone had any problems with cams, valve, springs making a tapping noise.
i have also change the cam...

right car started to make a knocking noise and clutch slipping so out came the engine full strip down new mains big end, seals clutch etc
rebuilt it and now the is a damn tapping from the top end...

hi mate sounds like the head gasket has gone and compressed gas from one of the cyclinders in getting into the water system, that would cause the bubbling a frothy water and it spiting out the header...

check the prop center bearing mine when and was doing that, mine was knackered and need changing
