You *will* need the MAF as without it the ecu cannot calculate load and will shut off the boost to virtually nothing.

Of course as the car now weighs less than f*ck all, it'll only need 150hp to...

The only thing I can suggest is in the first instance you whip the ECU out, and have a word with BBA-reman to see if they will test / repair it.

Tends not to be the outright hp that kills the autoboxes, (assuming regualarly changed fluid, and uprated cooler) but the torque in the lower range, and your driving style.
