As long as it's a Euro 4 D5 manual, nothing else is needed.
Actually, there are ZERO Euro 4 D5s (which the C30 is) with DMF failures running the RICA Sports Map.
Also, you don't need to choose the sports map. The RICA upgrades for the Euro 4 D5 models...

Check the turbo inlet pipe which connects to the turbo compressor side. If it's mushy, then it's probably collapsing under load and needs to be replaced.
The old D5 had lots of other niggling...
No, that won't work. That ebay item is a transmission ECU, not an engine ECU.
RICA ECU upgrades for the new V40 diesels are now available too!

Hi Zeb, it was me you spoke with.
Stage 3 = 253 hp / 548 Nm.
You definitely don't need to do any other mods. It's worth noting that the higher the mileage, the more wear and tear the car will...
For anyone who is interested, RICA have just released ECU upgrades for the brand new 2013 V40 petrol models -

If your car was the 140 hp version, then yes it would definitely be worth remapping it. Click the following link to see the power and torque curves, and where the improvements are:

If by phase 3 you means 2007 onwards, then you won't find any "chips" for these cars.
The only options available are either tuning boxes, or OBD2 remaps (although bench flashing the ECU is also...
Yes you can. Drop me an email when you are ready to do this.
You planning a trip to the moon in the near future? :cuckoo:
Yeah I remember now. Spesh's V70 T5 was his daily driver so it wasn't stripped out, had standard tyres etc.
Both of these were running a Turbo-Tuner ECU and both had significant engine mods. I don't think Spesh's had a LSD. Not sure about Elliot's.
Lipscomb Volvo dealers in Maidstone and Canterbury are RICA agents.

Correct.

I'm not patronising you. I have no idea how much you know or don't know on the subject. For the benefit of others reading who don't know, I wanted to clarify why not every value has to be changed.

No I won't post up ignition tables for you to compare. As I said earlier, anyone who claims RICA is not changing ignition timing is misinformed and completely incorrect. If they are making such...
Yes it does. 100% guaranteed. Any claim otherwise would be pure misinformation and completely inaccurate.
The car may have been put back to standard during the service. If so, just call your nearest RICA agent and book it in to have the new Volvo software read and remapped again.
If you go to www.rica-uk.com then the prices are in GBP. Alternatively, just click on the button at the top right to change the country from Netherlands to United Kingdom.
Perhaps what you have made there is a hot air feed!
In the summer, the highest air temperature is just above the road surface and the temperature gradient is very high, which is why you get a...
A remap is always better than a tuning box. The link below explains why:
