Ah yes, that will be this mount then...

£30 squids for a bit of rubber and metal! Pah!
I checked mine yesterday (touch wood) and everything looks all ticktey boo around the drive shaft area.
I'm sure it will go wrong soon like everything else on my S60! -(I'm not bitter much!)
Anyone got a picture of this engine mount?
Yeah I went out in the car today specifically looking for this and admittedly with the windows up I couldn't hear the clicking noise and it doesn't seem to make the noise on full lock only when you...
Been out today and the knocking sounds like the sound my old BMW made when the rear anti roll bar bushes went.
Does this sound feasible?
Thanks for the reply Dave.
Going back to my earlier posts about knocking from the front, I read somewhere that a popping noise while turning could indicate worn CV joints. This isn't something...
So more knocking noises are appearing.
I seem to have a intermittent knocking noise coming from the rear off the car. It only seems to occur when turning over mini roundabouts or turning corners....
Bomb just out of interest, before you took the Cv joint apart did you have the "popping noise" abd if so when you re-greased and put back together did it get rid of the noise?
What a great thread.
I'm considering purchasing the Ebay specials. Can anyone tell me after fitting them to the S60 (53 plate) will I get any error messages?
And when people talk about...
Not any more.
I looked into this recently and you are now looking at £500ish.
Pick a HU-803 up on Ebay, theres tons of them.
Thanks:cool:
Not sure where you found that link but thats the one:B_thumb:
Sweet:nutkick: thats what I thought.
I reckon I can get the leads and Parrot CK3100 for about £130 from Sextons.
When you installed your Parrot kit can you tell me where you placed 'the brain'...
So just to confirm, if I was to fit the kit mysen I would need:
* Parrot kit (pref 3100)
* Telemute lead
* Parrot adapter for telemute lead
Can you tell me which connection you need at the...
Great post mhon72:biggrin:
It certainly is not cheap to install a bluetooth kit in a Volvo with Hu-803!
I've been quoted £200 to install one of these kits but I think I'll have to make sure it...

I did this today with some copper grease (only stuff I could lay my hands on) and it hasn't made any difference.
Looks like its the expensive option.
I've actually replaced the lower engine mount (connects to transmission) and the gear change is far better than before replacement!
I had read somewhere about that (Rufe posted me thinks?)
I've never really done anything like that to any car that I've owner. I presume I just by some decent grease and put a dollop on the...
That was my thoughts unfortunatley!
My idea of a cheap (ish) runaround car is slowly disintegrating.
Blimey Dave, thanks for the quick reply.
I was hoping you wouldn't say about the spring mounts (although I exepcted it).
My problem with replacing these items is I would feel compelled to...
After my very quick induction into Volvo ownership I find myself spending some cash on the said steed to find a knocking noise at the front of the motor which I cannot seem to get rid of.
This is...
