I dont know how different the design is on the V70, but on the XC90its not in the way at all.
Plug it in, close the flap, forget about it.
It also makes for really easy access to do FW upgrades...
You can connect the Canbus extender via the OBD port.
I think you will need to connect the Volvotech via the OBD port then.

Indeedy - I gave the EGR mixer a clean in July..... ooh it was a messy, clogged up §§§§§§. I gave the turbo control valve on the front of the block a good clean about 3 weeks ago as well.
