volvo have a modifed wiring loom for this problem the looms get water in them but a top tip is if you cant open the doors at all take the wheel arch liner in question out and you will find some foam...
we have had nothing but trouble with this type of fuel it seems to clog everything up fuel tank filter lines and then injectors i would not use this at all its not worth the tiny saving imo
only if you have the packet with the code on it once its bein programed to a car its usless basicaly unless you break the casing etc to swop bits over
one of the guys on here has them fitted to his phase 1(a blue v40 sorry forget his user name ) car you just have to put phase 2 linkrods on

hi theres a high chance that it will need a brake control module this is a very common problem with the s40 v50 so common volvo contribute to the cost take it to your local dealer to find out propley
hi this may sound stupid but they run through the nearside front door switch pack (window switch etc) if this is faulty it takes out what you have described hope this helps steve
