It's horse not bull............ once the horse has bolted.
The sensor needs to be fitted to the downpipe with the aid of a weld on boss.
The correct reading at idle and normal driving is 14.7 - 15.0
The ecu will being it's hardest to make the engine run at the correct air fuel ratio.
The knock sensors detect knock and the ecu then either adds fuel or retards the ignition to overcome the...
Two things jumped out at me reading your post,
83mm pistons and stock tune.
The 8mm pistons will make it a 2.4 so is the stock tune for a 2.3 or a 2.4 ?
If it's a 2.3 then you are running...
If you noticed when you removed the old seal they was a small groove in the crank where the old seal had been. If you fit the new seal if in the same place the chances of it leaking are greater. If...
The correct way to solve this fault is to clean the idle control valve with carbon cleaner or replace it.
Unplugging it will just make the engine run rough and put the engine management light on.
It's obd2
The car is a late 95 850 t5r.
I have VOL-FCR which I used to read the codes.
I keep get a fault code of EFI 355 which is mass air flow signal fault.
I've replaced the sensor with a known working one but after about 5-10 of driving the lambda comes on. When the lambda light...
I was looking at the top red which must be torque.
I'm I right in think that it made 317bhp at 3500 rpm ?
It could also be the seals in the clutch master letting by.
Check if the carpet is wet around the top of the clutch pedal where the mastet connects to the pedal.
Unfortunately this will not work as the engine will not produce boost when on a fast idle.
You are better off spraying easy start over the boost hoses and seeing if the idle increases.

Has anyone had any experience with this manufacturer ?
Try getting in contact with Avinitlarge on here.
If you read oblarks remapping thread he sent his ecu to him to have the ostrich fitted.
If you switched the engine off when the oil warning light came on you could have damaged the crank bearings.
The oil pressure switch only needs 10psi to turn the warning light off and the...
Weld the rivet nuts back to the chassis.
Thats the stuff :)
Has anyone used it ?
Has anyone used that carplan shake and shine ?
with the mods he's doing (19t, me7 blues, 80mm maf & a 2.5" exhaust) he should be knocking on the door of 300 brake.
It's a shame he didn't do the work himself as most people on here are home mechanics.
But this thread show what you could do with a blank cheque
Isn't that a m4.4 ecu?
Shame no one else does........
One thinks that James has spat out his dummy.
Don't you mean "useless information"
