I think it may be CLUSTER TO LOOM that's the problem as opposed to BULB TO HOLDER. The bulb connections look more than adequate in the cream coloured holder. May...

Cool thanks for the advice.
Update:
The good news is thumping the drivers side rear light cluster brought both drivers and passengers rear bulbs back on. I have removed both bulbs/holders an will give them a clean up on the...
Thanks for the picture.
Mines pre facelift and ours doesn't have the LED running lights but going by your two main bulbs in the middle, both of my upper ones are dead.
Thanks for the help, will...
Ok,
Poor reference but:
23491
If 3 and 4 are meant to be illuminated simultaneously when the engines running then the upper ones are out on both sides. Bloody bulbs, I'm certain I changed...
I had read that on the internet too, although sadly I won't be spending that amount of money on this car. Still worth a look though, I think it's near one of the front inner wheel arches? I had...
Ok will go and check that each side has three.
Also mine's pre facelift P2 so doesn't have those small LED's in rear light units.
Regarding battery for alarm, either way I will investigate, so...
Oh, it's worth mentioning by the way, that when plugging the headlight leveller back in, the fault remains displayed on the dash... maybe this isn't the cause of the message after all?
EDIT:
...
Right,
After a long string of issues (ABS, STC, CCM, potential DIM) I managed to pop up to my mechanic friends house today so he could run a diagnostic on my car. At present, the car runs fine...
So as you say, realistically the S60/V70 2 litre auto is no great achiever when it comes to fuel.
I too had a BM, E60 530i 6 speed auto... was better on juice than my V70 T5 manual :(
Is that the 2.0 auto or manual?
Mine would never get anywhere near that, its NEVER gotten into the 40's and a long steady motorway run returns 34. My 530i auto was lighter on fuel than my manual Volvo 2.3 :/
Plus yours had...
Stage zero? I need four cylinders lol! May disconnect an injector and corresponding coil pack :)
So realistically, they'll be achieving 28 ish with gentle 30-40mph stop/start driving?
Are these...
I read that the 2.0t auto returns about 29mpg average which I thought was reasonable... the same source then quoted the 2.3 T5 as 30mpg at which point I laughed hard and fell off my chair.
So any...
Hmmmm it's just a decision whether to have it remanufactured or not - I am putting the car up for sale and didn't want to put people off with warning triangles but I don't know if it's worth the £170...
Ler me know how it goes as im looking to do the same... T5 ---> D5
This is probably the easiest way if you break the thermistor ^^^ just solder a new one.
Ahhh ok.
BBA REMAN seem to be the best value for money etc around £170 I think.
I think mine has been reconditioned before as it doesn't have the blue lacquer over the chip legs... its a clear...
Does anybody know if these are plug and play providing the part numbers are correct? Mine's 9499669.
Has anyone had success with swapping theirs? Or does it require the dreaded re programming?
...
For anyone interested:
I too broke the thermistor on my CCM part number 8651242. I ordered a second hand replacement off eBay that looked IDENTICAL and when it arrived it happened to be a...
It's just occurred to me - when the crooks I bought the car from removed the bulbs from the clocks, they took the holders as well - so I guess i'm in need of a complete bulb/holder or two :(
...
The same type you use for side lights?
Has anybody had to replace any of these bulbs behind the clocks?
I require a few but can't find new ones anywhere. I'm fairly certain last time I took one out it was made by Toshiba or Samsung...
Fault fixed.
I can confirm that my '0070' code relating to a faulty pump was in fact a faulty pump and not module as I first thought.
Also, by fitting a spare pump with exact same part number,...
Right.
I removed the heater controls, removed the annoying fan which is making the buzzing noise (does anyone actually know what this does), cleaned it all out, put it all back together and...
