yep i was the same with my old t5. also a common thing is that if you are a bit heavy handed and the oil goes over the filler neck when your pouring it in, it then slowly builds up under the cover...

if im thinking of the same job that i had to do on my t5, it is not a big job as you may think. it took me 15 minutes and i done it in the dark in the pouring rain wearing wet wether clothing i used...
