Not much... it has been sitting in the workshop since November...
IRS is under the car, standing on all four wheels. But doesn't have an exhaust, the rear brake hard lines has to be replaced because...
oh, and it managed to leak most of its engine oil while standing still! great. :smirk:
So a friend had this (MK1 960, non-leaf springed IRS)

Just put up an ad in the wanted section.
I'll chime in if I have results. ;)
sounds promising :)
what do you mean? The TT software? I don't care about that. I'm using Tunerpro RT. I only need the emulator.
brand new ostrich ends up close (if not more) to $300 with the shipping and taxes.. etc....
Bringing it back from the dead....
When we say broken TT... which part is broken? The ostrich or the ECU's main board?
I'm looking for an ostrich but can't justify all the costs when ordering...
You couldn't stay away, could You? :)
Any fiberglassing plans? Like R bumper up front and x70 bumper for the back?
Koni has the yellows. I had them on the 850... not sure if they are good for drifting.
As mentioned earlier, try GAZ, they do custom stuff.
My buddy contacted them to get a set done for IRS...
I like the flares... don't like the tyre/wheel combo :(
Would you please share the solution with us? I'm really interested :)
Your best bet is go DIY. There is no cheap coilover solution for us.
From the motherland they are unbelievably expensive. The ones from retro turbo are looking good, but expensive and doesn't...
so I had a not so brilliant idea about using the 6cylinder intake manifold and not the ME7 one, because:
1. I don't have to worry about IAC placement
2. Throttle linkage is bolt on
3. IC piping is...
Nah, I'm keeping stock. I even leave the trailer hitch on :)
Sleeper status :D

Assembled the m90, mated it with the T5 and in it goes!

Yay, it is in! (wait for it...)...
The 945 T5.
I want to make this car a lot more organized than the 960. I want it to as a DD and I want to trust it...
So I sold the VEMS. I was sick and tired of the coldstart issues on e85....
Hi,
I have a m90 from my old '95 960. It had crunchy 3rd gear, so I took it apart, replaced the synchro and welded the stop ring. I cleaned it out the best I could after the repairs. The welding...
Nice, my cop-ed ECU is ready for action as well :)
oh c'mon.. I punished the tiny little 315 injectors with e85 and 1.3bar of boost (18t) when I was on VEMS... it told me they are over 110% from about 0.6bar :D
before that I saw 160%, but that was...
I don't know.. I think it looks like an ostrich 2
26750
Is it 100% driveable now? How does it feel?
Can't speak about Volans, but 17" pegs cleared the brakes. Only problem was the poorly placed wheel weights. We had to grind the bolts that are holding the caliper a tiny bit.
So yeah, it is a tight...
It is simple. 330 rotors from XC90 and any kind of Brembo calipers you can find. Friend of mine uses Alfa Romeo calipers.
In my opinion the 302 upgrade is not that big of an upgrade. You have to...
I guess You'll know my opinion...
850s are brilliant cars, loved mine. But still, I tore its heart out and put it in a 960... and now it is going into a 945.
I would either keep the r stock and...
