Your gunna need some hellishly sticky tyres if your going to run 2 bar of boost. 1st and 2nd are pretty much a waste on my car and its making a fraction of what your car should be making.

Better bring some good rubber or you will just have the fastest 14 second 940 in the world lol Drag racing is all in the first 330 feet once you have hooked its just about swapping cogs.

But putting it in red (or what ever colour) means it stands out and some people have more than 1 time (like yourself) so it just makes it simpler.

I would def advise it, or you will just be wasting all your power on putting on a smoke show. Even my under powered jalopy has trouble all the way up to 60mph.

They take their drag racing pretty seriously out there, most of them run propper tyres which helps a lot.

Yeh they didn't look to sharp, I was pretty shocked as I always though of the E39 M5 as a bit of a thug. When they were going slower than my 940 I was a bit surprised.

But this is a chipped 335D, last two E39 M5's I saw were both in the mid 14's at about 104.

Stock 335D according to the website I just looked at 14.2@100 not bad for a Diesel.

E39 M5's aren't as fast as people think, and a 335 diesel is pretty quick to start with. Whats that going to be about 500lbs/ft of torque after a re map?
