Taken dash housing off (fun in the rain) and 'jiggled'.
Just not sure where or what I need to tighten, but at least I can lock it!

Morning all. Does anyone know how to cure my stuck ignition key?
Just been to shops, went ot turn off the ignition and the key won't turn to '0'.
Checked the gear is in park etc and driven around,...
'Quitting' is the correct offence. However, if the engine cuts when handbrake/pedals released it should be ok.
Would be an interesting test case...
torch, rather spookily just had a similar problem with my V50 (petrol though).
Although I had no oil loss, the turbo was in and out, getting progressively worse.
Finally sorted with a turbo control...

No worries...Ford immobilisers seem quite happy to un-sync, but only take a couple of minutes to re-do yourself. here's hoping.

Not aware of any Volvo problems... but all my immobilser issues with the family cars have been to do with
1. Little children clicking the fob out of range and the immobiliser needing to be sync'd...
May well be- however, my mate has his own garage and crew- he was the guy that looked at at it and that was the price quoted to him.
He tried his usual makers of OE spec manufacturers- none of them...
