Hi all,
My C70 seems to have developed a sort of metallic clicking noise that sounds as though it is coming from front offside wheel/suspension area. I only hear it at low speed but can't replicate...
To be honest the size increase would save about 20 quid a corner but i hadn't thought about them being harsher so a good point made. cheers
Hello mate, I was on level 5 at about 1pm today! Better wash the car if youre looking out for me then. See you one day.
Hi all,
Its been awhile since I've been on here and not used the volvo a great deal over the last year due to complications after spinal surgery and a broken clavicle, back now pretty good just...
Looks good mate, however would look better after the rust spot on the bonnet is sorted and maybe spruce up the dull bumper and repaint the headlamp wiper arms etc. and a new "Volvo" Badge
Should be fine, boot is huge compared to the convertible and when i had mine we took the four of us and enough clothes etc for a week to the lakes. I was surprised how much we fitted in.
Thermostat, thats what mine turned out to be anyway. Everyone said HG to me too but turned out much much cheaper to fix.
It could be the alarm module battery that needs replacing or servicing as when it can't retain enough charge it sets the alarm off at random times. It's a well documented issue although never got...

Very nice and even more jealous

Today my service parts arrived from FRF. So I made a start this afternoon with the cabin filter, what a PITA job! I thought it'll only take 20 mins or so..... 1 and a half hours later and it's done!...
I want one ;-( better save up some dosh
That's right it's paraffin
Well filter change went without issue (well only a slight issue with wrong part supplied but this was easily sorted at the local factors). Got splashed with petrol (nice... NOT) filter looked...
Got myself a filter today, although looking under car.....it doesn't look like the above ones. Hopefully weather will be nice tomorrow and if I'm able i'll get it changed.
Great cheers mate
cheers mate, will look at mine in the morning. what special tools are needed to open those connectors safely without breaking them?
anyone have a photo showing where the filter is located?
Pretty sure that they were bespoke suspension systems fitted as I remember when I worked for TWR in kidlington making special parts for donnington testing the following day and had a huge blocking...
Wow, excellent quality workmanship. Looking forward to following this project.
I think the key contains a coded chip which is read by the antenna ring, which send signal to immobiliser module that is behind glovebox. I don't think twisting wires together to short them is going...
Had mine done a couple of weeks back in my C70 convertible, pretty sure it's same sort of thing. No the dash didn't come out although a local indy did mine for £260 only took 3 or 4 hours to do. Good...
