Thanks for your comments; what you say makes a lot of sense and on the back of my post yesterday, I had the battery checked thoroughly today and it is charging properly from the alternator and...
Thanks Lee, I'll do the codes when I next pass my garage. Cheers James.
You are probably right, but that possibly won't explain the inactive speedo?
Thanks for the advice, I'll see how much of a change there is by charging the battery fully and then if the problem persists, I will get the codes read and take it from there.
Can't be far off. For my T5 it was about £125, there is maybe a bit more plumbing, but nothing much I would think.
OK, if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
For various reasons, my 97 V70 T5 (pre ME7) has sat on my drive since the end of November. From time to time I have started it up and let it...
Thanks again, then this is the way to go and I will get it sorted next week.
Cheers, James.
Any suggestions as to where, I am in Suffolk and what about cost, is it worth it on a car that cost me £1500.00??
Thanks, I will get this sorted asap.
Cheers,
James.

I know and understand exactly where you are coming from!!!
Thanks to everyone that came up with suggestions and advice on how I might get rid of the irritating rattle in the back of my car.
I have followed all of your advice and luckily found that the...
Cheers!!
It's the detailing that counts, looking good, very smart!!
OK, crept under the rear end and checked the heatshield, that is all good, so nothing to worry about there. Vader suggested that it could be the cvargo nets that retract into the back of the rear...
Thanks again, I will follow both of your advice, thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
James.
Great advice James and I will get her up on the ramps at the weekend and check out the heatshield, you may well be right, certainly worth a look.
Thanks again,
James.
It pays to look!! I have only just got the car and had not noticed that I have that cargo net option, so I have drawn them out to see if that stops the noise; I'll let you know, thank again.
Hello,
There is a persistant irritating rattle in my V70 and it comes from the back left hand area and is particularly obvious when I am travelling on country roads which are less smooth, on the...
Hi,
I need to replace my existing keys with some newly cut keys, the old ones are worn. I can buy the blanks on Ebay and these include a small slot for the transponder.
Do my keys, which are...
