They're an Rs focus specialist so should be interesting
Can I get on the rollers on the first hour if possible I need to head back at 11 30.....THX
I'll try and get you on second, I've got to put the xc90 on first, but should be first hour ish, depending on how long it takes Dyno chap to set up, being a dedicated Dyno I wouldn't think it will take too long
Great morning's fun. Big thanks to Steve for organising.
Had a cracking result for the sweed...
310.2bhp and 333 ft/lb.
someone's got a list then ?.
:B_thumb::B_thumb:
Excellent results Chris!
What is the full spec of your car mate because I only got 315 hp and 317ft/lbs and as far as I know we both have the same basic hard wear 2.5 and 19T
Except mine was with Shem's special MAF housing, 750cc injectors because my VXR 470's had maxed out, custom reworked 19T and custom cam settings with a custom map and he swore blind that was the most it would give. Not to mention he forgot to use another housing and destroyed what was left of the the 16t hybrid lol
So who did your mapping Chris?
Thanks Greg
2.5 bottom end
Ported & flowed head
N/A cams
19t (brand new from Volvo, factory actuator)
VXR Injectors
ME7 Manifold
TW throttle body
D5 Oil cooler
AEM progressive water injection (100% meth)
Feritta 3" D/P
Miltek cat-back
Blackbeast intercooler
3" DO88 RIP
TW big MAF housing
TW MAF to turbo pipe
Original airbox & panel filter
TW custom map (still on 4.3)
AFR's are bang on low to mid 11's on WOT, never seem to differ or alter like some 850's can.
Pretty much same as yours mate, afaik. You defo don't need those stupid big injectors. I think Tim is only using VXR's on his GT28.
It got the identical result on Shark's dyno when Tim took it there.
That 850R looks stunning in white , Also goes well with those numbers I bet. ;)
And my graph....

In reply to Mike.
As the Dyno doesn't have a direct engine RPM input it has to rely on the operator holding the car at a desired RPM and then letting the Dyno know that RPM is reached. The operator may of been slightly out when pressing "OK". I assume this because the max attained RPM is higher than I set the rev limiter to. The effect of this will be for the BHP graphs RPM axis to be out, the BHP numbers on that graph will be correct but at slightly different RPMs.
The effect on the torque graph will be the figures at lower RPMs being shown as higher and the figures at high RPMs being shown as lower. The torque is a calculation of RPM and BHP.
Once again many thanks Steve for organising, top job! Some excellent results, good to catch up with everyone.
It was a bit of a trek for me, and not without issues! The inlet manifold lost a bolt where the LPG railing mounts leaving a 5mm hole and vacuum leak ( I had wondered why Simon seemed so quick!) noticed immediately with rough idle once we reached littlehampton and cured by help of a members tools and a spare bolt I had. The long run probably did the car some good too and was a chance to convoy with Simon who joined me on the M11.
Made 273.4 BHP and approx 296ft Lb at a guess looking at the graph. Blitz showed 1.1 bar peak during dyno run. All in very pleased with smooth graph and reasonable power given the cars only running a cat-back, 16T, blues and a MAP.

Oh and thanks for the go in the V70R Steve :)
Again your welcome, I'll let you have a go when it's mapped
It got the identical result on Shark's dyno when Tim took it there.[/QUOTE]
At least it prob means the Dyno is reasonably accurate
