......and when can we expect 'The Big Unveil' ?
What happened, did you only have 1/2 a disc ?......I don't think that is any where near dramatic enough for a Claymore bonnet !!, get back out there and cut some more holes in it pronto.....:hilarious
P.S. just worked out I could do with the slash off the grill, only if you have no plans for it.
What only one cooling intake ,surely there's going to be one near the rear of the bonnet or are you going to lift it up on the hinges to get some air flowing out, good luck on this one hope it works well.
There's a chap on the forum with a nice scoop on his bonnet that he wouldn't miss , after all it's for a good cause.
That is the first cut, it will have naca ducts on the near side for the primary intercooler and it will have a big hole at the back to let heat out., much the the old bonnet but without the big bulge.
How's it all coming along Colin?
I was reading that it might not be ready this year which is sad news, nice to see you have started on the bonnet though :)
Not much progress mate, but hopefully with the weather getting better, I can crack on, this is how she is at the moment:

And I don't seem to have anywhere for my spare wheel:

cutting that hole might void the anti corrosion warranty ;)
erm - where's the fuel tank going - under your seat ?? LOL
good to see some progress.
It will be using the original tank and it will only be using both engines when it's on the track.
A bit more done today, cut the rear bulkhead off the donor and welded a couple of support bars:

And cut a bit more out of the car:

You're a braver man than me Col.
