V50 buying advice & boot size

Looking at getting a V50 09 1.6D DRIVe SE 100K on the clock
FSH 12 month MOT asking price is £3500

What do need to look out for?
is it a good price?
Also I need to fit my dog cage in it's sloped at the back so will fit flush against the back of the rear seats at the bottom It's 3ft long & 2ft 2" high, will it fit??

Looks tidy enough.

DPF issues like all diesels, hard to check it.

Seems a good price. Go see it and take a tape measure!! :)
