Any help appreciated.

Yeah I saw that, but I wasn't sure as when I did a search on here they results came back saying you could not buy the lense seperately ? And that you had to buy the full lamp.
I also checked with my local dealer who also stated that the lense is no longer available : (
I brought headlight glass from Skandix. It fits perfect and really quick delivery.

While I had the headlights apart, I also spray painted bezel black.

haha i also tried to wrap the headlight for protection but that was a fail. I kept getting kinks in the wrap.

Here's part number this was for drivers side - 8678137
Altogether it cost £110.90 including delivery.
Did you only buy one glass? What about the other side?
How easy/difficult was it to strip the headlight? Any tips!?
I only brought glass for O/S as a stone hit the glass and made a hole. Water got inside and damaged ballast which i also had to replace.
N/S glass was fine, only removed glass to paint bezel.
Well I couldn't fit the headlight into oven, so I had to use heat gun. It did take a couple of hours, I was trying to be careful (R headlights are expensive!). I was going to do a DIY youtube video but i spent soo long heating it and didn't bother.
I have just edit the video so it's only 2 mins long. This should give you an idea of removing the glass.

When I did the headlights on my Type R, I was able to fit them in the oven, it didn't take long (less than an hour) and was alot easier to remove. (Also I brought a used pair, which was also 10x cheaper than the R headlights so wasn't too bothered if i broken them...)
I was very impressed with myself, doing the Type R headlights. I was installing projectors in them. Completely gutted the headlights and installed projectors with HID's.

Also you'll need to buy Butyl tape. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=282259968136
Install new glass, use heat gun again. Use mini clamps so the glass stays in place.
I've already got the butyl roll.
Thanks.
Yours are painted black rather than STD car xenon upgrade
no worries.
I also had to change the ballast. Water got inside and damaged the ballast. Also had to remove pieces of glass that got inside.
