D5 180 engines, any good?

As per the title really! Are the Volvo D5 2.4 engines any good? I should have joined here and asked this question a few weeks ago before buying one! I bought a 2008 V50 2.4 D5 the other week with 175,000 miles with full Volvo service history. It was having boost issues so has spent more time in with a Volvo specialist than I have owned it! Still waiting for them to get back to me on the diagnosis of what's wrong with my car!
It's in very good condition, just hoping it won't cost me a fortune in repairs.
