Abuse of those that help run this site

Hi All,

The team helping to run this site whether they be moderators or admins do so by freely volunteering their time. I'm sure the vast majority of you would agree they should be able to carry out their duties without abuse.

Yesterday we had to ban someone for sending abuse to a member of the team which directly related to those duties.

If you feel you have been treated unfairly by a moderator please feel free to contact us using http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/sendmessage.php

Hopefully this type of incident will not happen again but anyone maliciously abusing any member of the team or any member of the community may also receive a ban. (Abuse may also be deemed to have broken the following legal legislation
The Protection from Harassment Act 1997
The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994
The Malicious Communications Act 1998
The Communications Act 2003)
