I'm struggling to find a black interior for my 850 r so I was wondering, it's only the drivers seat that's really bad, could I get a passenger seat and swap it over onto the drivers base or could I strip off just the covers and fit them to the drivers seat, anyone know ?
Ummm I know that I fitted the foam off a passenger seat onto a drivers seat, actualy thinking about the cover should fit as well.
only 1 way to find out.................let us know if it works...................
I doubt it, isn't there a lumbar dial half way up the seat?

Yes, the cover clips to metal bars that run through the foam within the seats metal structure. it will be a very very fiddly job to change cover's not saying it cant be done, but a lot of care will be needed.Quote:

Yeah I had to do a cover on my old one but I also changed the foam as well, it's fiddly but not impossible.
Thanks guys, don't mind it being a bit fiddly if it opens up some options for sorting the drivers seat out !
