She sounds very nice dave
sound very beeft to me
Sounds a average to me lol
Decided to straighten the airflow past the MAF sensor - see if it would help with the idle (which it seems to).
Still a little unhappy with the 2nd gear pickup but it is difficult to find a safe place to test it.
I put the air feed in from beneath as well as from infront. The homemade shield should hopefully preference the air from those rather than the air around the engine

Dont quite get the 4" pipe work with only a minimal air intake? But your 1/4 times speak for themselves so you must have done summit right lol
There is an additional cold air feed coming via an 89mm flexible pipe from underneath (you can't see it here)
the 4 inch intake is purely to fool the MAF sensor which on the OEM 3" housing became saturated at 5200 rpm. The 4 inch effectively "slows" the air down, plus the anti-surge intake on the GTX garrett is already 4".
Sorry about the picture quality

you can just make out the cold air feed from beneath - it comes in from the mouth of the splitter beneath the reg plate.
B to C is a nice straight quarter mile on fresh tarmac, my house overlooks it ill keep my ear open for ya ;)

Loving your work there mate looks cool and sounds awesome
your right about 2nd gear, thats where deans is so good, at the 1/8 mile he was 8mph faster than me already and at the 1/4 mile marker he was only 9mph faster, you can both get 2.2 60fts so 1st is good, its when he goes to 2nd he flies away from everyone, so you're right Dave 2nd is where to look at
its 2nd gear down to mapping though. correct me if im wrong. are you planning on a full custom map
