RWYB Drag race weekend 30th Sept/1st Oct

Well what a weekend with a great turn out, plenty of volvo track action and a great social evening or two. I'd like to thank all that attended to make it such a great event where records were broken and PB's smashed much to my delight. It was also a pleasure to finally meet Tim Williams and have him present when my 15g powered car smashed it's way into the low 13's with a 13.4 second run @104.3 mph terminal PB and then backed up with further 13's runs, pics and vids uploading at present and will be here soon

Attending were, Adrian Ringrose, Martin R Smith, Richard Smith, Stephen Lund, Neal Evans, Peter Hoyland, Carl Smith and his friend Andy a newbie to drag racing

Non Volvo

1) P1 (forgot his VP no.) Richard Smith (Santa) 12.8 @ 107.8mph

Obviously the table will need editing as I don't have all the times for people, so the table will move a bit as I get all the times in.

I wish, then I would have done it last year, just been progressive improvement, chipping away one mod at a time and the new afr gauge has really helped and pin pointed that I was over fueling to compensate of the air flow and charge improvements. I could possibly sqeeze a bit more with 4.4ecu mapping and possibly a larger maf......nice to hear from you though, pity you weren't there to see it and you'd have loved the black cossie that was running.

Yep we need to give it a god farewell, I'm thinking beating Woody with a 15g would be an amazing end to our shakey time and a few fireworks etc.

Thanks it's been a long road, but the results are coming now and will post up the slips, pics and vids as they up load

Was a cracking weekend.

Epic night on the lash on Saturday, finishing with myself and Adrian still going at 5 on Sunday morning :lol:
Followed by Sunday funday.

Was an honour to have my arse handed to me on a plate by Adrian on his record breaking run.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I collected my ticket afterwards!

Would like to attend but shifts on the busses sucks! And have no hols left ,maybe try and get down in the new year ,would be good to meet up with some of youse
