Which transmission

Can someone tell me which variant of the m56 transmission the 850 t5r 1995 manual had in it

Dont know about the R, but the plain t5 had an M56H

There was nothing different in the T-5R gearbox from a standard T-5 and other than trim, front spoiler, wheels etc, the ecu was the only difference providing extra power for a limited time. As above it was the M56H that was fitted with a 4.00:1 final drive ratio.
