Funny you should say that, as today's job was chopping 150mm off each end.

I made some temporary fiberglass brackets just so that I could get the angles correct before I transfer to alloy. and made a 'CAD' template.

Both wings now cut down, I hope to tig up the end brackets tomorrow (if work doesn't get in the way)

this is going to be so much fun when it hits the road and should corner like it's on rails, the only thing I don't like the idea of, is trying to keep up with you when we're out on a run......lol
I suspect this car won't be seeing the road in the near future, but will see some track action before too long.
Will it be possible to make it road legal,? Don't they have to be type approved or something when they have been so radically updated.
One end bracket made and fitted, but I'm running low on my stock of aluminium :)

A test of my control system for the active wing on the T-10. (you can only see it working on full screen)

Today was a day of tidying up the wiring.
Rats nest:

That's better:

Then I bolted the roll cage down finally in readiness to make the mounting plates and final welding:

A bit of CAD design work.

Onto the cage mounts,
bent up some 3mm plate.

then welded it all up, and ready to weld down.

And the same for the rear leg.

Just need some dry weather so that I can bring the welder out and stick them to the car, then repeat for the other side.
Sounds like an absolute beast! Good work.
ooohhh the return of the whining supercharger......nice
And, at last, it's time to start on the bulkhead.
