Found my boost leak...
Changed pipework to r.I.p now won't start, power to coil but no spark. Looks like main ignition relay wires and relay might be shagged.
Got to love a t5r :)
Ok so a trip to DW Tuning in Hull and the required spare part sourced!
Turns out the main fuel/ignition relay (grey one) was cream crackered, new one on and she fired straight up.
Had som emore faffing today with the throttle body too as I was missing a reducer to fit the 3" throttle and RIP whe I fitted the ported manifold so thats finally all on. Slight mix and match of colours and some edged connectors needed and some new jubilee's to stop anything blowing off and she will be all sorted.
3" throttle made a notable difference in response immediately.
Also fitted another toy today, the secret to Woodys success perhaps? A blitz spec R electronic boost controller. Its now all set up and running 1.2 bar staged. Pulling like an absolute train, very pleased indeed :)

Next job? Order some more silicone and aluminium connectors and get her on the dyno for a health check (mainly fueling)
Still have no idea what turbo is fitted, sadly plate is missing and veins on a 15G and 16T cold side look too similar for me to tell a difference, I'll likely leave it with whatevers fitted, wait for a 19T to pop up, fit that with some greens or VXR's and a nice downpipe and that will be engine done (famous last words!!!)
Glad it sorted mate should go a lot better now happy days best get a turbo over to turbo tech thats the secret; )
Yeah, does look like a good controller, but wondering if you can control how progressive the boost is.
Off the top of my head no
Stribo, absolute doddle to set up, its a loom through the bulkhead for the solenoid and a earth and positive from ignition for the controller.
Its the easiest I've found to set up and has enough functions for me. You cannot choose how the boost is delivered but can set four different boost modes as Pete mentioned and the peak/overboost function is very useful as you set you warning at say 1.3 bar and if it detects boost at that level will reduce it to whatever figure you specify.
Useful too it has a mode to shoe peak boost and will stay there so you dont have to concentrate on dials and can look after a blast.
The spec S is the cheapest generally and is a single solenoid for upto 1.5 bar and the spec R is a dual but cant remember the figure. I simply got the dual as it fell at the right price. Tried greedy once and it was the most complicated thing I have ever seen!
Bit more work today, completed a full oil change and fuel filter done.
Also sorted a rattling suspension coupling (bit that holds rear pring in) and replaced it with a new one, now quiet! :)
Final job was to do the turbo oil return pipe, this was an absolute PITA, the screws were overtightened and in an effort to cure the leak someone previously bodged it together by filling it with silicone some of which nearly fell in the sump when the return pipe was removed. After a good twenty minutes of cleaning and £2.49 in parts its back together minus bodge. This sort of handy work iritates me... still didnt solve the leak either!

Had a chance to take a proper look underneath too, its in almost mint condition, no rust present at all. Here's a pic of the CAT Husky fitted, small almost "race" like, works and doesnt seem to hold the car back too much so until the turbo changes with a new downpipe it will stay.

Coming long nicely m8 keep up the good work
