It was good to see Gul yesterday, even though she was up on the ramp. Got a good look at the work you've done underneath anyway, which is most impressive.

Still making good progress despite having to go back a few steps to open the sunroof ;)
Yeah there's always something that crops up that should have been done at least it only wasted half hour fitting it back in.
Pretty busy for the up coming weeks with work so don't know when ill get round to doing the welding.
Once the welding is done I can then drop the sub frame and crack on with the rest of the stone chip and chassis paint to finish it all off then onto prep work for body paint
Finally managed to get a little time with the gul got most of the welding finished just need to do another bit on the passenger side.
Seam fully welded up

I was surprised at how good the front of the strut towers looked until I got some heat on it and terribly weak thin steel so decided if a jobs worth doing its worth doing right so all been re done with better gauge steel just got a bit to finish then I can do rest of masking.
Yep, I was surprised at how thin the metal is in all the non structural areas, work looking good mate :)
What no new brakes??? Not.going drinking with you again lol
superb work uncle pete bud , be awesome when its all done, but that steering wheel and gear knob gator will make the rest of the trim look under par so ya will end up with a full retrim there me thinks lol
