V70 Rear Wiper problem.

Hi all,my rear wiper is not working but can hear the motor wurring,i have stripped it down as Justin suggested and found the big cog inside keeps coming off the worm drive from the motor,is there anything i can do to stop this or do i need a new one?

Cant visualise what you mean, but it sounds like the circlip is missing off the shaft.

Thats more or less what i was thinking mate,will have a better look when she comes back from the garage.Didn't notice any grooves or marks in the shaft though.Will let you know.:Handshake
