Looking at the do88 intercooler to throttle pipe, which works out at about £160+, I thought I'd have a go at building one. I've been collecting the bits, bought cheap on fleabay, over the last few months and yesterday I had a dabble...

I had to add a port to one end but since I have no tig welder and no welding abilities whatsoever, I concocted a more mechanical alternative...

Pressure tested it to 40psi too :)

I didn't get any photos of it fitted as it was dark and I was hungry lol but it's a bloody tight fit in there. So tight in fact that it's touching the starter motor and only mm away from the rad fan. I'm contemplating redoing it all in 57mm right up to the throttle body but I'll see how this goes first.
Total cost... £40 (ish)
