Gul has no pollen filter, but should I go genuine Volvo?

Whilst doing the relay change earlier, I noticed that Gul has no pollen filter. Should I go genuine Volvo or just after market?

Is there a pollen holder or just the black trim

Most 850 dont come with pollen filters

Looking at the pollen filter housing on PFV, and I'd say that there isn't one on mine. I'll have a quick check before ordering the housing and filter.

order genuine

you could go the a breakers and get the pollen filter frame from a v70 and then fit a new filter to it

Done similar to your suggestion, in that I've asked Readview Volvo for them, as he breaks 850's and V70's.

I was lucky enough to find one in my v70 donor car whilst removing the bulkhead engine mount, so I popped it into the T5R, will have to wait to summer to see any difference...lol
