Hi Frankie i have a complete t5 manual to do a conversion on my 850 r will the t5 have the correct box slave cylinder is external any help would be great thanks
it wont have the correct box for an 850r manual, but it will have a box that you can use, the 850r box is an m59 and has the so called limited slip diff (viscous coupling) the t5 will have the m56 which has an open diff, these boxes dont give you the grip but are more reliable, external slave is better, best to get an 850r clutch rather than a t5 clutch as will take more torqueQuote:

clutch kit : source the gearbox first, but the 850 always has external slave- the internal started mid way through 1998 .
as above, 850 r kit is a good idea as higher clamping pressures.
