no mate , its a weekends work with 2 of you, any 850 box will work yeah, best to buy an old manual for the conversion as neal did
Or just buy a manual car?

A/T ECU is removed - Engine ECU cares not.
You ditch the auto ecu for the gearbox, and wire the starter inhibiter to fool it into thinking the car is in neutral. if you dont it wont start.Quote:

Although I didn't do the conversion myself, it's an awesome mod. Tbh, when I rebuilt my engine and had the lot out, it's looks pretty straight forward, with the only constraints being facilities and time. Best of luck if you decide to jump in!
