The clutch master cylinder is next to the brake master/servo. If you look down the left side of the servo you can follow a rubber pipe from the brake reservoir that goes down to the clutch master cylinder on the bulkhead.
Thanks a lot dave.i didnt word my post very well.im trying to buy a replacement cylinder
Haha, my apologies, you did put 'finding a master cylinder', I just misread it D'oh.
New ones aren't cheap:

If you don't mind second hand there are a couple of our members breaking their 850s and V70s

No worries, they should be the same for the 850 and S/C/V70 up to 2000
Thanks again
Hi again.bit of a mare part sent was for left hand drive only .after 3 weeks and many emails.anyone breaking an 850r or can help me out with another supplier.I cant seem to find any on web.thanks
Oh no!
Looks like there is no other UK supplier then. Looking at the part numbers the x70 has a different part number and only up to 1998. Don't know what the difference is, there are so many picture out there.
Here is a used one from a V70, don't know if you can compare against your 850 one?

If the reason you changing it is a sticky pedal change the flexy on the cluch pipe.
Wish it was mate.cylinder is cracked and leaking badly.thanks anyhoo
Any 850 or early 70 series manual master cylinder will be the same, there's nothing special about an 850R one
