i used one of these on both my Volvo's: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Bike-Brake-Clutch-Bleeding-Kit-Automatic-Bleeder-Gunson-Eezibleed-Easy-Bleed-/231479576338?hash=item35e5420712:g:IXEAAOSw91NTs-0I...
My V70 2.5T had burnt out valves on cylinders 4 and 5 due to faulty knock sensors
coil on its way out? how do spark plugs look? or it could simply be some damp still in the electrical system
sounds like the valve is wrong way Mark
the stuff you want is Jewellers rouge mate
the shocks is your problem they are too soft on damping and rebound not the springs, i thought the same until i changed to koni yellow setup and its a completly different ride.
u got a boost guage fitted?? is it dipping when you hit the flat spot? what boost are you getting?
absolute crap mate, i had them for 3 months and got rid upgraded to koni yellows with Eibach springs
i had a 2004 XC90 T6 brand new, it had its turbos changed at 6 months old, intercooler replaced with a larger item, remap and gearbox oil pressure increased, running approx 360bhp. It ran from 20k...
as Steve says i paid about £80 to get just that section done on one of mine
from volvo for stud, nut and washer £19 each, so for 10 £190, frf wanted £13 so £130 for the 10
have a look at spark plug first, if it looks ok swap coil pack 3 for one of the others and see if problem moves, if it does you know the coil pack is knackered. If not get compression test done
these guys have always given me good prices for genuine parts: http://www.emissioncontrols.co.uk/page.php?domain_name=emissioncontrols.co.uk&viewpage=home
i can tell you now it wont be Tesco crap as you put it, the Tesco super unleaded fuel has one of the highest anti knock (methenol) content of any fuel in the country. It will be something failing.
i cant understand why you dont just change a few items, ie turbo to 19T/k24, 3" exhaust, injectors and intercooler. i have a mate with a 2.0T running 400whp on standard engine
cant use the ECU on ME7s, speak to Dreamer about putting a T5 map on the existing ECU
they look really nice mate
i use ATE Superblue racing fluid its a nice blue colour funny enough
one question how are you now going to balance your wheels without wrecking the rims?
