No problem mate, when I found you could search for Sold listings on eBay I've found it very useful.
You just go to advanced search and select 'Sold Listings' and search as normal, a real hand...
Look through this list (it show how much V70 T5s have ended for on ebay in the last few months), look at similar examples to give you an idea of what you may get on eBay if you were to list there......

Yours I would say with 90% certainty is the DIM failing and no, it's not a cable jobbie - there's a 8 pin connector on the back and that's it.

I think twice now when thinking about second hand tow bars, new ones can work out just as cheap, when you buy a cheapy second hand bar and then have to fork out for the proper spreaders and bolts...
Normally when installing a tow bar a full fitting kit is required which includes spreader plates that fit into the chassis rails of the car for the bolts to thread into, so not just a case of what...

i've got 6degree rear camber plates on BT, & 30mm spacers to bring the wheel back out level

I think you will need camber plates for the back
I assume you're after more negative camber on the front, this will come when you lower it. There is a bit of movement where the strut bolts ton the hub carrier, so you can get a bit more that way.

2.3 is 240 bhp for the T5 and 2.4 is 250 bhp I THINK

Don't forget to change the gearbox oil, not essential, but a good precautionary measure.
