Looking good Pete.
Looking good Pete.
I always find that type of comment strange really.
I mean, if somebody owns a 500+bhp super saloon/estate (that's only a few years old) then it would be safe to say that
A) They understand the...
I had a drive in a 205bhp s60 D5 and i really, really liked it. I thought it was a great all round car that i was tempted to buy, but the boot was just too small. I'm sure it was smaller that the...
Always interesting to read others opinions but, for me, the phase 3 are much better cars. I've been in a few of the phase 3 s80s and v70s recently and i found them quieter, more comfortable and...
It's not an estate.
It's not piss yellow.
It's an auto.
Those things must take away from it's value...........i'll take it off your hands for 3k ;)
First of all, i'd get the wheels balanced again. Your dad may be sure he's had them done but, as it's a very cheap job, you may as well have them done again.
Then get the wheels aligned, preferably...
In defence of terraclean, it doesn't claim to be able to help in situations like that.
I don't like to say this, but maybe the garage is struggling to diagnose the issue and did a terraclean more...
Some people say it's a con, because there's basically no difference between how terraclean works and filling up with a good 99 and going for an hours drive to get the engine and exhaust nice and hot....
That's interesting because my 2.0t feels no different on super unleaded compared to standard.
I still use it though and it does appear to benefit the car as the emissions are lower, as proved when...
I love the ZV5, just such a good all round tire considering how ridiculously cheap they are. The perfect tire for normal cars (under 250bhp).
I see the ZV7 is out know as well.
The later geartronics are more reliable than the early ones. That said, at 170k, i'd treat it like an auto on any car and make sure it is working well. i.e selecting the proper gears, nice smooth...
Well, the remap would have upped the boost but as i have no idea what turbo it uses or the boost it runs at, i can't really say. I doubt it would make much noise though, you need a cone filter for...
My mate removed the foam on his t4 and, with a panel filter, the noise difference was hardly noticeable.
The turbo needs to be running decent psi to get some proper noise. What boost does your d5...
Ignoring the lpg issue, 5k is just too much for a rough 5spd auto v70r.
Remember not only do the early 5spd autos suffer with reliability issue, there just not that quick either.
I've experienced that, fortunately it was on a quiet road though..............and it wasn't my car ;)
Its interesting that you prefer the 5spd to the old 4spds, because i'm the other way around. When it comes to normal driving then fast driving, the 5spd seems a bit dumb. I much preferred having a...
Going by the pics, i'd say its not exactly had much money spent on it for a while.
But going by the ad, i won't argue about the lack of sense ;)
I had clear bulbs in mine. Pretty sure they would be in yours.
They are supposed to light up. They should pop out fairly easy.
Thats what i'll be doing, two sets. One with normal, for the majority of the year, and the others with some sort of all season/weather tyres for the dodgy months.
From what i've read, the Michelin...
I'll be going for all season tyres because, although not as good in snow and ice, they offer better grip in cold but dry, wet, damp conditions.
This is because where i live we have very little...
Let me know if your mate is thinking about selling his 2.4 auto yet.
I've been looking for another car for nearly a year now lol
I've not heard anything to put me off the 2.4 t5 geartronics.
Someone on here had one running 315whp for many years with no issues.
I wonder if my car was owned by the same person, as they were blind as well.
My car was supposed to be a short term daily though, so i've not done anything to rectify the dents, scratches and curb...
