no problem, you're welcome.
We all have to start somewhere mate. I wouldn't have contemplated dismantling a Volvo 4 years ago but I'll happily rip the old boat apart to fit new mods these days.
There are, of course, some...
we used to replace only bushes all the time.
the price saving on buying just the bushes instead of a whole arm, is better than the extra .3 labour allowance you get for pressing the bushes after it...
clutch
timing belt
turbo swap
glass replacement
remapping
I had the same issue on my 2005 model, it turned out to be sticky VNT vains and the turbo was replaced ;)
Mine threw up "engine service required" when it went into limp mode
Good luck with the...
Drop THESE guys an email. They will tell you. Get your part number off your MAF. These are only genuines, not Chinese knock offs so are a few quid.
every volvo has a syphon filter in the tank filler assembly 2000 on .
had a few customers in who had customs bugger their tank up at the tunnel doing random checks for red diesel - needed new pipes...
thats why i never fill up unless on a long journey as you never know whats around the corner

I use a USAspec PA11-VOL with apple lightening adaptor cable. I hold it in a Brodit iPhone 4S holder that just happens to hold my 5 in its case. The phone...

Look no further than the gentleman at post #4
Sorry To hear its gone BUT got to say this.
:worthless. Of the new motor
Lol, T5 starlet!
New ECU is about 800 quid. But what if I do the ECU and it turns out to be something in the loom (you seen the loom on a P2?) or another sensor elsewhere that can't be tracked...
Aren't intercoolers more typically the culprit than turbos on these?
EDIT D'oh, just seen you've swapped that already :)
Here's a thread well worth a read.

A faulty BCS would throw a code, a tired one wouldn't. For the money I'd try changing it first.
I have a good used one if you get stuck mate
Check the boost solenoid first, could be leaking a bit. Or maybe the waste gate flutters a bit. Try the cheaper bits first.
Or an air leak downstream from the turbo.
... and a grand of mine was on modifications :D
They're not that bad. Mine's generally fine. no more niggles than any other car I've owned.
The vulture in me says if it is likely to meet a fiery end and it has DSTC could you please remove the...
Well, mine's doing fine at 204500 miles...
....After spending £3500 on it :(
can be blanked of no probs ,we normally blank them off and send them out for weeks at a time
Think about the date of the first change too. If it did 97k in it's first few years the belt on the car might be due for a change anyway?
