Volvo
will fit without spacers ,just change the steering stops for 18" wheel ones.
Nice work, especially for a first go.
I did my interior trims years ago and I'm getting pretty bored with them now. All that stops me changing them is the total ball-ache of removing them lol....
The plastic moulding look pretty dull and decided to carbon fibre wrap it. The is my first time wrapping and ain't too bad.
I will be doing reset of plastic trim, only done front bumper.
...
My D5 but you get the idea.

It's not a plodder - all later face-lift cars had big calipers. Same as the v70 and xc cars.
They first appeared on xc90s
I doubt it.
Ex plod cars generally have high miles. The police wouldn't have gone through the extra expense of changing calipers to suit, they also are not bothered about the stereo system. ...
I've seen smoke testing mentioned on here in the past so thought I'd have a quick google on how to make up a tester. Found this vid by RobertDIY

Thanks! My passenger side mirror is a bit cloudy, so I might order a set from PFV.
If you mean the plastic bit that attaches the mirror to the swivel assembly - yes. The last one I bought was complete.
Kieran stop being so thrifty and buy one from Volvo lol.
Standard all the way.
Mine runs far better with the standard paper filter than anything else I've tried (and I've tried a lot).
Sorry bud, but I need to clarify a few things here.
Firstly, stock paper filters are good at doing what they do but they are incredibly restrictive, especially the non R models.
K+N are...
Stock paper filters are fine, however, if you want a performance filter, then go for a dry filter, washable and re-usable. AEM, Jetex.
K&N is an oiled filter. Oil can be easily overused and that...
Keep with the standard air filter and change it more often. My ITG panel filter is sat cleaned on the shelf ready to go but I feel no increase in power using it. (MTE V70 D5)
My ecu was cloned and mapped then additionally had the dpf write out and EGR also written out.
I've just changed the front engine mount and rear one, once the supplier sends me the correct mount. ...
Speaking from experience I would say try and get a genuine one, especially if it's heated. The glue on the pattern ones just doesn't hack it.
Don't forget to shake it all about too Kieran , it ain't the hokey cokey otherwise.
If the seats came from roughly the same year car, you should be fine mate.
the ecu will go straight into a strop if you tried it on that
thanks lads,
If i could have found another 850 i would of but they all seem to be on their last legs or stupid money , for what is effectively and old car. Up until about five years ago i was a...
Yup.
I find myself questioning maaaaaaany things
Or he just doesn't care, most likely.
Lol, aye forgot about that! On the way to collect Teapot the T5R?
Crazy day, that!
Like they say you can pick your friends but not your family. .....:shy:
