Used V Power On my S70R when that was Rica'd. Im still using it on my S60T5 now even tho its not tuned yet.... I know its expensive but u get what u pay for me thinks...
It's quicker with that Shell v power or whatever the hell it is. Also the Tesco high octane stuff is good. You can use normal unleaded but it lacks the oomph of the others.
Get in touch with HLM Bromsgrove matey :B_thumb:
£150 for either th 280 or the 304.
I had my HLM 304 done in Oct last year, best thing i ever did, never had any problems with it the cars done...
my D5's got 156k miles on the clock, & once funds allow intend to get it remapped (not sure who by yet)
Many cars out there with higher mileages than yours have been remapped/chipped with no adverse affect. Just make sure it is all in good health before you start and if your not sure seek advice from a...
You will be fine, expect in the real world around 270 BHP and 400 NM with the chip, you wont be disapointed you need to be around 350 BHP to do any damage!
My Saab I had remapped with BSR at 144k was still pulling strong 16k later. As long as everything is running fine I sure everything will be hunky dorey!
Your pals probably went a little far. :)
has it broken? i had this happen to mine & turned out the flat part of the roll bar near the exhaust end had fractured, had to replace with a new one & have the wheel alignment rechecked on rear...
Theres a few specialists around the Glasgow area who would custom make q stainless steel system for around the 300 mark plus u choose the db levels and the tail pipe your only limitation is your...
But (just too add) I think I'm right in saying that on a 95 the 15g will most likely have the conical downpipe flange rather than the flat one (best to check to be sure as the downpipe won't fit...
Sorry, you will probably have a 15g on a 95 model T5 unless its a manual T5r.
It worked out to around £300 delivered for the standard package of exhaust and downpipe. I had to add $210 US to the $349 they retail at to get the system. Their communication was very poor though...
Hmm it looks to be ok but its far to bling bling and its, expensive to send back if it brakes theres more than enough custom builders over here except 1 company i could mention whos steel certanley...
I agree, Dooby was posting his satisfaction at the scan-tech part and the price compared with the cost of a genuine part....
However i do agree that generally i always opt for genuine parts although...
i had a problem with wheel bearing whine for some time but no matter how many times i jacked it up and checked it there was no play in the wheel.as this is the way i have checked wheel bearings form...
If you've got a bit of front wheel bearing noise but are having trouble pinpointing which wheel what you can do is (WARNING this is can be dangerous !) jack up the front of the car and support...
I have a feeling one of mine is on it's last legs, it's ok most of the time but if I turn hard I can hear the disc scraping on the pads.
Yes this is the tested method, tho with hub bearings the feel is more difficult to gauge..IMO.....Hub bearings in my experience also tend to whine......
Cheers
Jod
The old method was to jack the car up, grab the wheel and try moving the wheel, if you can feel slight movement then there's play in the bearing, not sure if this is still applicable or the best way...
Ive recently changed the nsf on my 99 V70 with 127k on the clock.
Perhaps you have to throw the car away when the bearings pack up :P
I've changed one side, forget which. *I* don't believe they're a lifetime item...
