2.7 or 2.8 V6 PRV in that (depending on year, more than likely a 2.8 in a 1981). I saw that the other day, a nice project for someone who's serious.
Chav garbage. Ruins the entire car, made worse by the wheels and the red hubs. :(
Add 5mph then. :D
Top bombing mate. We are THE public service for all your Volvo related matters. :D
Cartoonhead, I hope you're appreciative. ;)
In fact I can save you that much work. From Parker's:

Having said that Cartoonhead, the Volvo T5 engines have more to give at lower engine speeds; rev one past 4250rpm on the standard turbo and you'll not benefit as the set-up is for torque at lower...
To be honest I would prefer a perfectly standard 1800ES. A thing of beauty.

Bear in mind that sometimes a leak from a component can be untraceable. Why I've no idea, but that's life! :D
+1 to speedt5r.
It can be useful for climates like Alaska and Canada, but not really necessary for North Yorkshire (even though it can get a bit parky up there!).
Firstly, don't be too worried about a bit of mayo under the oil cap. I don't recall a single day when my S70 didn't have it there and all the way up the dipstick.
It sounds to me like your heater...
Going from normal to super should boost performance. You could try this:
Disconnect the battery completely, then connect the leads together and switch the ignition to 'run', leave it five...
Don't fiddle with your knob yet, certainly not until you have a gauge fitted.
Start with the uber-obvious stuff;
Check the air filter element for blockage and the air intake. If the air...

That looks lovely and crisp mate, and the anthracite wheels look freakin' marvellous against the deep turquoise paintwork. Sounds like it's already nicely specced as it is, with some more tweaks...
Check firstly for loose vacuum hoses. Check for loose loom plugs and wires. Also lightly spray the distributor cap and leads with some WD40.
You can vacuum it clean, use the little round brush thing on your nozzle (oo-er) to rid it of dust 'n crud.

Excellent choice Photobucket, also Imageshack is good although a little long winded compared to Photobucket.
Looks nice in red, but yellow looks fantastic! :)
Hmmmm, may wander down the old B&Q at the weekend myself. Never even occured to me to paint the calipers. :)
That's dealers for you. :)
The stock output was 240bhp, but time erodes bhp so a little TLC in the engine department is needed too. There's loads of advice on here for wringing a little more...
I'd go for black for an understated look, any other colour may clash with your car to be honest. I suppose you could get away with yellow though.
