This is old so I assume you have done this now. But I used the coil spring seat and both parts of the top mount bearings, after trial and error after fitting just one of the bearing plates.

No problem, the bits on it were well worth it. It wasnt to bad tbh its just cheaper to put it all in a new car than to repair.

Thats a good shout actually. Ill look into doing that as i do feel im letting pressure escape somewhere.

Its switching the polarity of the crank sensor for a good start. Saves me taking the gearbox out and finding an OBD1 flywheel.

I had issues like this then eventual bad running and cutting out on my 480 when a 12v cable to the battery decided to get damaged and burst into flames.
I would suspect a dodgy battery or wiring on...

I am fully aware of how turbo cars work. I'm just new to t5 engines. I've not got the knowledge base of what's achievable yet.

Well it does need sorting so hopefully if thats the problem it'll be all good after a fix.
